With players from across the region demonstrating a high level of existing skill alongside high future potential the Coaches were presented with some very tough selection choices.

The main purpose of a Talent Academy (TA) is to provide an exceptional player development environment for high potential young players.

c. 25 per gender are taken forward annually from across Norfolk, Suffolk and South Lincolnshire into the East TA. East TA forms 1 of 5 Academies in the SE region alongside Cambridge, Holcombe, Old Loughtonians and Sevenoaks. These TA’s are part of a wider network of 24 Academies across England which come together annually at the TA Cup.

Talent Academies aspire for players to enjoy and value being a part of the TA that will hopefully support many to take steps into performance environments in the future such as the Elite Domestic Game, University Hockey, the GB/England Elite Development and England Age Group Programmes.
