Welcome to the Clubs First area.

ClubsFirst is England Hockey’s accreditation scheme for clubs. ClubsFirst is a national recognition whereby clubs can demonstrate that they are working towards minimum operating standards in the following areas:

• Higher quality welfare, equity, coaching and management
• Safer, stronger and more successful club infrastructure
• Provision of a playing environment which ensures members' welfare and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives

An accredited Club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents/carers know that they’re choosing the right Club for their young people.

All clubs achieving ClubsFirst also achieve the Sport England Clubmark accreditation. Clubmark is the universally acknowledged cross sport accreditation scheme for community sports clubs.
